Red Hot Buffet celebrates new floor with star-studded launch
Red Hot World Buffet Manchester officially unveiled its sumptuous second floor last night with a glittering launch event. The star-studded party was attended by some of the North-West’s favourite personalities, including Hollyoaks actress Nicole Barber-Lane, Manchester indie band Daystar and ex-Lord Mayor of Manchester, Councillor Mark Hackett.
With the floor fully booked for Friday and Saturday within hours of launching, early indications are that it will be a big success. The memorable night was capped with a parting gift to each attendee, a souvenir passport which entitles the bearer to 20% off their Red Hot bills for the next ten years.
The lavish new 10,000 sq ft floor, part of which has been fitted at a cost £250,000 and is designed to provide dedicated facilities for corporate and business guests, was decked out with a Riviera casino theme. The second level boasts private booths, individually styled to reflect the nationality of cuisines served at the restaurant, with the potential to expand to its full capacity to meet anticipated demand in the future. The incorporation of boardroom facilities with WiFi means that the restaurant can now provide a dedicated corporate dining area. Additionally, the flexibility of the space means that it can double as relief for the main restaurant level below during peak times.
Following the event, Red Hot World Buffet director, Helen Dhaliwal, said: “The launch has been a huge success. This is a brand new direction for our restaurants, so it was important to start with something a bit special. We’ve had a fantastic reaction to the new floor from guests and we’re looking forward to seeing how diners respond now that it’s open for business.
“The floor has been designed to contrast with the existing theme of our restaurant interiors; it has a very retro, stripped-back feel. This trend is very fashionable right now, and we feel the Manchester market will welcome the bold, innovative design.”
Tables featuring mock games of Roulette and Blackjack proved a hit with the VIP guests, while the Red Hot World Buffet branded photo booth provided a fun, personalised memento of the evening. VIPs enjoyed complimentary drinks, canapés and many of Red Hot World Buffet’s signature dishes were served up.
The launch of the second level will be followed by a week-long celebration of the Manchester restaurant’s one year anniversary from 2nd - 8th July, with each day dedicated to thanking a different selection of Red Hot World Buffet’s clientèle for their support, including: parents, couples, regular diners and the restaurant’s first-ever customers.
The finale will see the unveiling of an enormous edible chocolate sculpture decorated with 1,800 petit fours consisting of 600 different varieties of tiny desserts.
