Wirral Chef Shine 2008



Award winning Chef Robert Bryson, of Sheldrakes Restaurant, Lower Heswall, is this month’s nominee for the Wirral Chef Shine 2008.

This year’s Chef Shine is based around the ‘Home Grown’ theme, using seasonal local and regional ingredients.

The event will take place on Tuesday, August 12.

Total cost of the 3 course menu is £14.



STARTER A pressing of broccoli and lobster with a summer salad of

fennel and dill



MAIN COURSE Pan roasted organic corn fed chicken with sweetcorn and asparagus risotto and a watercress sauce, finished with a parmesan crisp.



DESSERT Mirror of blackcurrants, tart tatin of greengages with vanilla ice cream
