HEATHCOTE REVIVES RESTAURANT WITH AA THREE ROSETTE AWARD

Celebrity chef Paul Heathcote’s flagship Longridge Restaurant has received one of the industry’s top accolades.

The AA three rosette award takes Preston’s Longridge into the big league as only restaurants that have truly mastered their area of expertise, with the highest standard of cuisine and excellent service, are bestowed three rosettes.

Paul said: “We are delighted that the quality of our food and mastery of our chefs have been given the recognition they deserve.”
On the menu signature dishes can be found such as Heathcote’s famous bread and butter pudding, with poached apricots and clotted cream and also the favorable Longridge Experience Menu, where diners can delight in five classic Heathcote dishes.

The news comes after it was revealed that Heathcote had decided to take his Longridge restaurant off the property market and was looking towards a bright new future working with manageress Kath Bell and head chef and Gordon Ramsay scholarship winner Chris Bell. The couple were at the helm when the restaurant held a Michelin Star.
Kath said: “We were excited to celebrate a new beginning at Longridge; receiving the three rosette award is a wonderful start.”
Only seven other restaurants in the North West of England hold the AA three rosette award and this has placed Longridge in the top 10% of restaurants recommended by the AA; making the Lancashire restaurant a favourite among the most exclusive of diners.
