Popular Mobberley eatery launches its own take on the Twelve Days of Christmas

The Roebuck in Mobberley is getting into the festive spirit by launching its own take on the Twelve Days of Christmas.

From 1st December, every day will have a special offer or dish or cocktail for customers to enjoy and take advantage of.

On the first day of Christmas – a partridge in a pear tree in the popular song – customers will get the chance to try partridge for themselves as complimentary bar snacks with a selection of seasonal sauces and accompaniments.

Other highlights include a coq au vin special on the third day – three French hens – Christmas-themed ice creams on 8th December – eight maids a-milking – and free children’s chicken drummer meals for all youngsters on December 12th to symbolise twelve drummers drumming.

Chef Ben Wilson said: “We want to help get our customers in the mood for Christmas and give something back to them.
“Our Twelve Days of Christmas is just a bit of fun but hopefully people will come down and perhaps try something new or enjoy some of our special offers.”

Located just off the B5058 from Knutsford to Alderley Edge, the Grade II listed Roebuck at Mobberley has long been one of Cheshire’s most attractive country inns.
