We decided to take on The Wilmslow Tavern in September 2009 against the advice of friends and family who all thought we were mad to purchase a pub in a recession.

Two years on and a lot of hard work later and we believe we are scratching the surface of bringing Wilmslow its best ever public house. We are very happy with what we have achieved so far with turning a failing pub into a pub with a future, a warm, safe clean place to both customers and employees alike.

Since taking the business on we have tried to tick as many boxes as we possibly can, a good selection of beers, hot drinks, wine, spirits cocktails, hot and cold food, snacks and all at reasonable prices. We also offer a free function/party service.

In the two years we have been here we feel more and more excited about the possibilities that this business has to grow, we now have two football teams, a darts team and a pool team and would be interested in helping out any local teams.

With free Wi-Fi for all of our customers we are seeing more and more professionals at lunch times for meetings and students to complete coursework.
