I have eaten here several times over the last six months, the food is always beautifully cooked and plentiful, the staff are friendly and the service is good, it's a good old fashioned pub which I love, please don't change, it offers a great atmosphere, good wholesome pub grub with generous portions and a good welcome.

First time in with the new menu. Food excellent, freshly prepared, great value. Strongly recommended.

My husand and I visited the Parr arms, Saturday 7th july. A lovely old fashioned pub in a cobbled street. I had mushrooms in stilton and brandy sauce, lovely, my husband had spring rolls. The main meals were huge, but very lovely indeed. My steak was so succulent, it was difficult to finish the whole meal. the chips were home made and not frozen which made a difference. The service was good. I would recommend it for sure, however, make sure you are very hungry before you go. my husband and I had a lovely time and will certainly be returning in the near future.
