About The Dysart Arms

The Dysart is a truly classic English village pub, with lovely open fires, bookcases scattered all around, lots of old oak and a really pleasant garden. It only lacks a cricket pitch at the back and the knock of leather on willow to aid the digestion of cask beer as you chat amiably with the vicar.

What a fabulous meal we had here. I'd heard good things so we made the short drive out. The Lamb Belly was probably the best starter Ive ever had - and Ive had a few! Crispy yet soft, wonderful flavours too... I cant recommend it enough. My main, the Fishcakes we awesome too, not too smooth with the flakes of fish falling out. The missus had soup of the day and the Chicken pie - both got rave reviews. This is a pub serving a proper pie - not just a pot with a top! Wonderful service, plus our doggy got treated like a king too!! We'll be back, just wish there was an onionring offer!?
