About The Conservatory at Ash House

In the Somerset village of Ash, there is a small, family-run hotel: Ash House. The historic building is over 300 years old and has been respectfully restored, keeping much of its period character. The Conservatory is part of the house and overlooks the garden, although there are open log fires in the dining room during winter. The menu is imaginative and classy. Here you can try dishes including mussels in Muscat with wild garlic and shallots, lavender-infused shank of lamb and Thai-style red mullet. Desserts are equally enticing, including caramelised honey and balsamic peaches. Three courses costs £29.50 per person.
