With parts of the building dating from the 1580s, The Red Lion has a truly longstanding reputation for providing food and ale to the locals of the cathedral city of Canterbury. Behind its striking white Georgian façade, this traditional pub and restaurant has an extended dining area serving brasserie standards with plenty of draught ales and beer on tap. Look out for the Tudor dovecote uncovered during recent renovation work, which has been preserved and incorporated into the new structure.
