Vermilion celebrates the formal inauguration of its Thai Cooking School



Vermilion Restaurant, the most successful restaurant in Manchester is delighted to announce the formal inauguration of its Thai Cooking School by Dr Warunee Varanyanond - Director of Institute of Food Research and Product Development, Kasetsart University, Thailand, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed OBE – Chairman of Seamark Group and Mr. Manzur Iqbal - Owner of Vermilion & Cinnabar, Manchester on Monday 3rd November.

The Vermilion Thai Cooking School is a joint project between Vermilion Restaurant and the Thai government. Its aim is to teach food lovers how to make dishes at home that Vermilion Restaurant serve in its restaurant.

‘Healthy Eating Cooking Class Program’ is a fantastic opportunity for those who have already enjoyed Vermilion’s finest cuisine to learn new Skills and Recipes of Traditional Thai Cooking, along with the Healthy Benefits of using Fresh Herbs and Thai Ingredients.

The successful class attended by 23 students was taught by Vermilion’s Executive Master Chef – Chumpol Jangprai – one of Thailand’s most respected Chefs. Following a presentation by Dr. Warunee Varanyanond and Master Chef Chumpol Jangprai, the students were then shown in to Vermilion’s state of the art kitchen to create their dishes ranging from the Popular Tom Yum Goong – Hot and Sour Prawn Soup with Mushroom and Herbs to the Traditional Gaeng Khiao Wan Gai – Thai Chicken Green Curry with Eggplant and Sweet Basil.
