About San Marino Bar & Restaurant

San Marino combines fantastic food, with comfortable, stylish surroundings. Our extensive Mediterranean menu is complemented by ever changing fish specials and a sophisticated wine list. Whatever the occasion - San Marino will deliver a great experience.

Here at San Marino all our produce is carefully sourced. We pride ourselves on using only the finest ingridients are used for our dishes . For an abundance of freshness and taste we rear our very own local produce.

Currently we breed our own rare breed free range Saddleback pigs which which offer a delicious selection of pork, ham, bacon, sausages and suckling pig. You simply can not get a more fresh, quality and tasty source. And when we say local produce that's exactly what we mean, as the pigs are reared just 100 meters from San Marino!

The produce is currently sold exclusively to our three establishments San Marino, Il Toro and our recently acclaimed Strawbury Duck. And here's a little food for thought, our Pork sales have increased by 200% so it must be worth your meal and your money. You'd have to try it for yourself to be sure!

And today we breed a variety of free range hens within the grounds to provide only the best home free range eggs.

We have been using Free range chicken since the opening of San Marino in 2003.

Daily Fish caught from around the u.k, mainly from Cornwall and the Irish Sea.

Our Chicken and Duck all come from Johnson & Swarbricks in Preston (same as some of Gordon Ramsays restaurants) Our Venison comes from a Yorkshire estate Holme Farm.

Our Beef cattle From Bowland Forest Hereford Beef Lamb are reared on the heather moors around Bowland Mutton featured on our specials and is Herdwick From Cumbria- Farmer Sharp (supported by Prince Charles)

Veal is From the famous Farmer Sharp Cumbria and is the PINK veal Pheasant, rabbitt and pigeon caught locally.

Mrs Dowsons delicious Ice creams from Mitton Blacknurn.

We even have our very own resident company patisserie chef, David Port who supplies a mouth watering selection of all things sweet and nice including scrumptious cakes and delicate chocolate truffles.
