About The Living Room

The Living Room on Deansgate in Manchester has now been open for over 6 years, and remains the restaurant & bar of choice for Manchester's discerning population.

Situated directly above the bustling bar-restaurant area is The Dining Room, a standalone restaurant for more intimate occasions offering one of the chic-est dining experiences in Manchester. The Study above The Living Room and The Dining Room holds 50-100 people comfortably and is Manchester's premier private members' bar with an exceptional drinks list to match.

There is a new era at The Living room with the arrival of our new Summer Menu, which is now available in all sites.

Our focus remains on sourcing the best quality ingredients, preparing them simply and delivering bags of flavour and texture on the plate. This is good, honest, robust and stylish food with its origins firmly in the European tradition with an international flair. There is nothing frilly or fancy.

Fantastic choices, enticing dishes and a brand new presentation of both the food and menu itself - We have taken The Living Room food to the next level.

Also there is also an extensive Brunch menu served from 12-6pm every Sunday. Live music plays from 1.30pm.

Went on Saturday night, waited a while to order, manager came over and explained reasons why (250 wedding guests upstairs), apologised in advance for any delay in food service. As it turned out there was no delay and the food arrived in just the right amount of time. The food was delicious, the flavours were amazing and the quality of the ingredients seemed high. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their food and nothing was left on the plates! Would highly recommend this place for a meal but it isnt the sort of place to go every week as with drinks, etc it wasnt cheap but great for a special night out.

I went with two friends last Saturday night to the Living Room in Manchester. We sat upstairs in a very colonial dining room with lots of ceiling fans, subtle wall lighting and traditional seating. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who attended to our every whim. The food was fabulous too, all the plates were empty.
