The Plough Inn is now open all day on a Saturday - wonderful news. We visited again on Sat (31 Oct 09) having had an aborted lunch attempt at another eater which needs to be featured on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares (Dog and Partridge Country Inn, near Ashbourne in case you ever think of eating there!). However, I am pleased to report that The Plough, as always, served fabulous food, the service was excellent, and staff warm and friendly, and the ambiance perfect. I had the Fillet of Beef Stroganoff, and my partner had the Sea Bream, with prawns and capers in a white wine sauce. Yummy! The deserts were equally delicious; and the beer and wine of an excellent quality. Thank you The Plough Inn.
