The Takeaway was established in 1995 and in 1998 the restaurant establishment was opened officially next door. Founded by Mr Ahmed, in the heart of sandbach, which is a historic market town, the restaurant primarily serves contemporary Bangladeshi cuisines. Mr Ahmeds three sons, have taken on the reigns to modernise the establishment over the years to keep up with the uptrend and evolve the business. The Ganges, is proud to be affiliated with the local community and prides in supporting the local organisations and clubs. During Covid, the restaurant management have undertaken a huge refurbishment to ensure the environment for the community is safe and welcoming.
