Owners Stuart and Helen Birch have been looking after customers at the White Crow for 19 years, and are now owners of the White Crow premises. The White Crow offers real ales, roaring fires, fine home-cooked food stuffed full of local produce in portions to satisfy the biggest appetites. We also have special dishes for younger customers, a comfortable family atmosphere, warm decor and excellent service from long-serving members of staff. The fact that the White Crow is now no longer tied to one brewery means that Stuart and Helen can increase their range of real ales and provide an outlet for the large numbers of micro-breweries that have sprung up in Lancashire and the north west over the last few years. The White Crow prides itself on using local suppliers (all the beef used at the White Crow is top quality English beef) and cooking the kind of dishes that suite the hearty and discerning appetites of Lancashire folk. There is a broad range of dishes to suit all tastes on the menu (see our menu page), including a considerable choice of special dishes that can be found on the blackboard every day.
