Peckforton Castle wins Hotel of the Year at the Annual Marketing Cheshire Awards

Leading Cheshire hotel, wedding, conference and events venue, Peckforton Castle has picked up the coveted Hotel of the Year award at this year’s Marketing Cheshire Awards.

More than 370 guests attended the prestigious awards at the M&S Bank European Headquarters on Friday, November 23, and enjoyed champagne before sitting down to an evening hosted by former Hollyoaks actress and presenter Terri Dwyer.

This year the competition was particularly fierce in the Hotel of the Year category as it was the first time both the small hotel and large hotel categories had been merged together into one set of nominations.

Chris Naylor, Managing Director of Peckforton Castle:

"Myself and the family are so proud to have won such a prestigious award, especially as the category for ‘Hotel of the Year’ culminates so many great hotels within Cheshire. We hope to promote and make our region proud in the National awards and celebrate all things Cheshire!”

Peckforton Castle was commended for their very high standards of customer service, quality of locally sourced food and commitment to staff training.

Due to their win at the Marketing Cheshire Awards Peckforton Castle will now be entered into the national Visit England Awards, which take place next year.
