The Land Rover Experience at Peckforton Castle launches a new Adventure Area
Peckforton Castle is pleased to announce the unveiling of the Quarry Area, the latest addition to their Land Rover Experience.
Set amongst the majestic surrounds of the Cheshire countryside and complete with 45 degree drops into water and mud, the new Quarry Area gives thrill seekers the chance to test the full capability of these high-powered performance vehicles, as well as their nerve, around the unique purpose built facility.
Peckforton Castle worked closely with leading international off-road track builder D3 to develop the Quarry.
Simon Day from D3 enthuses:
“When we were approached about developing the tracks at Peckforton Castle we were genuinely excited. So rare is it to find a location with such great potential owned by those who have a clear vision and passion to provide the best in all terrain driving. This new track enhancement gives the Land Rover Experience a world class offering.”
The new investment to the Adventure Area of the Castle’s Land Rover Experience has been built to blend seamlessly into the local environment, and has transformed the Quarry that the Castle’s original stone came from.
Following on from their acquisition of the Land Rover Experience in July 2012, Peckforton Castle is keen to cement itself as a market leader in the leisure industry. Speaking about the new Quarry Area, Chris Naylor, owner of Peckforton Castle said:
“The Adventure Area has been developed to give the ‘wow factor’, and broaden our offering. It is an ideal facility for all our clients to test their driving skills, whether that be a corporate team building activity or fun for all by way of our ‘arrive and drive’ sessions. We are also proud to have a great team of qualified Land Rover instructors who are on hand to help drivers get the best out of any activity they choose.”
Peckforton Castle’s fleet includes the latest models of Land Rover Defender, the all new Range Rover, Discovery, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque and Freelander 2.
