Alderley Edge Hotel is in the UK's top 300 restaurants – according to The Telegraph national newspaper.
Their list of the "best places to enjoy great food" is based on feedback from readers and "anonymous, expert inspections". There are only six Cheshire listings but we are among them with "some conspicuously ambitious food".
Head chef Chris Holland, says the reviewer, "has his finger on the pulse".
