FOOD TO MAKE YOU SMILE -

Time to settle down, after the Christmas and New Year celebrations, and start looking forward to the eighth series of the BBC's 'Great British Menu' which starts on 28th January.
Why?
Well, there's even more reason to follow this particular series - not just because it celebrates the fun of Comic Relief but because our own head chef Chris Holland is taking part.
Chris joins the chefs who, this time around, are creating playful, funny dishes - inspired and judged by some of the UK's best comedians and TV comedy writers. And, to mark the event, we are offering a new seasonal tasting menu to run from the start of the series on 28th January (Chris and the North West chefs will appear from Monday 11th February at 7.30pm).
Chris will showcase three of his 'Great British Menu' dishes as part of the six-course tasting menu, and coffee, which will be available every lunchtime and evening, Monday to Saturday, right through to the end of March.

The price is £70 of which Alderley Edge Hotel will donate 10% to Comic Relief. For more information please e-mail [email protected]


Also ... watch out for a really special event in March when we hold a fabulous fundraising dinner in the Laurent-Perrier suite in association with the other two great chefs that appear with Chris in the 'Great British Menu' - Aiden Byrne and Mary-Ellen McTague. They will be recreating their television dishes and, again, we will make a donation from the ticket sales to Comic Relief.
