Q. What new things have you in store?

A. Well, for one, we have added the phrase “Mod Mex” to our restaurant’s description. This is a direction we are going resulting from several trips to the States. Mod Mex is the latest new style of food to hit the US and is a new term used to describe a fusion of
contemporary American and Mexican cuisines incorporating a broad range of food styles and presentations from across the southern border states. Many of the flavours have been reinvented or are new, clean, and without the overwhelming emphasis on stodgy, heavy food smothered in cheese. It is a wholly more delicate, subtler, and healthier affair, albeit, still with ample sufficiency to satisfy. The
emphasis is on quality ingredients, while offering something really quite different.

Q. Is it all over the States? A. No, it hasn’t even reached many parts of the eastern seaboard, but is currently getting national coverage on the Food Network and the like.

Q. Have you changed your menu?

A. Absolutely. The point of this promotion is to advertise the fact that we have a new, fresher, imaginative menu on offer which you won’t find anywhere else. I have drawn on 25 years of experience in running my own restaurants with the help of some key people in the states to help with the flavour profiles and the sourcing of specialist ingredients imported directly from Mexico and the Southern States. You really won’t find anything else like this.

Q. Explain your latest offer.

A. It’s really straightforward. The offer runs from Thursday 8th October until Friday 23rd October 2009. It is really advisable to book well in advance as we expect this offer to really take off.

Q. Anything else?

A. Yes, our lunchtime menu is certainly worth a mention. We’ve got at least 10 offerings for under £3! The portions are lighter than the evening but they are more than ample for lunch. They are a big hit with the offices around us and it is available between 12 noon and 3pm weekdays. We also have a great offfering for Christmas which we’ll be promoting at the end of October.
