Fresh, home-made and locally sourced food is the order of the day at The Bhurtpore, with menus designed to suit all tastes.
The set menus are diverse and are complemented by special dishes which change day-by-day.
Meat is sourced from quality local suppliers - The Great Tasting Meat Company (Nantwich), Buttercross Farm (Market Drayton), Maynard's Farm Bacon (near Whitchurch), Cheerbrooks (Nantwich), and Littler's (Sandiway). Venison is from Malcolm Prescott, a stalker from Betley, and other game from Alternative Meats of Wem. Fish is all from sustainable stocks and eggs are free range and local.

Located in the heart of the south Cheshire countryside, The Bhurtpore Inn is a family-owned, traditional village pub.
The owners - Simon and Nicky George - bought The Bhurtpore in 1991. Since then, the pub has won numerous awards and it is recommended by the AA, the Good Pub Guide and the Campaign for Real Ale... awarded South Cheshire Pub of the Year 2010! The beer-lover's bible has featured The Bhurtpore every year since 1994.
The food is freshly-prepared, home-made and reasonably priced. Diners have the option of eating in the bar or the restaurant and food is served at lunchtime and in the evening. At lunchtime we have have a number of our usual dinner main meals avalable at half size.
With eleven real ales always available, a large selection of bottled beers and eight continental beers on tap, The Bhurtpore attracts connoisseurs from far and wide.
For customers who prefer wine or whisky, The Bhurtpore offers a huge choice of both. The bar also stocks over twenty different fruit juices.
As well as welcoming the passing traveller, The Bhurtpore is at the centre of the local community. It is home to a enthusiastic cricket team, the Wobbly Wheels cyclists and, once a month, a folk music session and a Vintage Sports Car meeting.
