Hot-A-Doodle-Doo!

We've been hatching plans for a special chicken burger for a while, but the right moment never quite arrived - until now. With the indulgences of the festive season behind us, we felt that chicken's hour had finally come. It was a recent trip to Dallas that sealed the deal - they know a thing or two about cooking chicken there, and don't do anything by halves. Plenty of spice, a good dash of smokiness and a touch of sweetness: that's the Texan way, and it's just the thing for brightening up the dark days of a British winter.

Hot-A-Doodle-Doo! is a spicy chicken burger that might be lighter than your average hamburger but is still a heavyweight when it comes to flavour: a grilled chicken fillet marinated and glazed in smoky hot sauce, with crunch from crispy onions, crinkle-cut pickles and iceberg lettuce, plus creamy ranch dressing to balance out the chilli, served in our classic glazed bun. If you feel like giving beef a break, there's no better way.
