Byron's latest invention; the B-Rex!

Can anything taste as good as the memory of your first hamburger? That’s the question that Byron’s head chef Fred set out to answer with their latest special – the B-Rex.

The story begins years ago, when, after weeks of anticipation, Fred finally got taken to the cinema to see Jurassic Park. Once the credits rolled, it was time to head down the high street for a bacon cheeseburger - the first burger he can ever remember eating. It might not have been the world’s greatest hamburger, but it hit the spot like nothing else. The B-Rex is Fred’s tribute to that burger - this a childhood dream of a bacon cheeseburger, reinvented for grown-ups.

B-Rex - 6oz hamburger, onion ring, crispy smoked bacon, American cheese, jalapeños, pickles, onions, BBQ sauce and mayonnaise. £10.25

PS: For the true dinosaur nerds out there, it turns out that a real Byronosaurus did once stalk the earth, 150 million years ago. No word from the archaeologists as to whether its diet included hamburgers.
