Byron present Holy Cheesemas: Christmas, but cheesier!
Christmas brings with it many traditions, but surely none as enjoyable as the fine art of festive over-indulgence. This year, Byron’s contribution is a festive double bacon cheeseburger fit for a king: the Holy Cheesemas, available from 11th November to 5th January only.
Byron’s Head Chef, Fred Smith, explains: “Cheesemas has become an annual tradition for us, and for its third outing I wanted to take an already ridiculously indulgent burger up a notch. There was really only one way to go, and that was to add even more cheese – and bacon.”
Holy Cheesemas features two 6oz patties, four kinds of cheese – mature Cheddar, American, Red Leicester and Monterey Jack – plus two rashers of dry cure bacon, red onion, shredded iceberg, sliced pickles and Cheesemas sauce, all inside a classic glazed bun (£12.95).
