Ditch Dry January with classic Brasilian cocktails from Cabana
With dry January drawing to a close, there’s no better way to get back on the horse than with a trip to Cabana, the award-winning Brasilian barbecue restaurant who have an exclusive range of classic Brasilian cocktails for any occasion - ranging from the fiery to the frozen.
The cocktail menu, developed by mixologist Dariusz Pawlowski, features 19 bright and colourful recipes including the brand new Spicy Malagueta Kick Caipirinha and the UK’s first Frozen Caipirinhas, made using the highest quality cachaça (a Brasilian sugar cane rum - pronounced ka-sha-sa) – blitzed to create Brasil’s answer to the Frozen Margherita.
The caipirinha, which means ‘little country girl’ in Portuguese, is Brasil’s national cocktail and Cabana pride themselves on shaking up the perfect caipirinha using their favourite cachaça, Velho Barreiro and adding fresh lime and sugar. With an exotic array of flavours to choose from including Blueberry Acai and refreshing Kiwi, you can be sure to enjoy a real taste of Brasil.
For something a bit smoother, you can try one Cabanas boozy Batidas, a delicious cachaça based smoothie made with condensed milk. Choose from a variety of fresh flavours including strawberry, mango, passionfruit and coconut.
Sharing is caring with punchy pitchers of Ipanema Iced Tea and Cabana Pimms with Guarana, which are perfect for groups and large parties who want to drink and dance the night away!
To get you started on your cocktail journey, as a gesture of our Brasilian good-will, Cabana have recently introduced an amazing Happy Hour – 2 for 1 on our most popular cocktails, every day from 12-7pm and 10pm-close. Join us for those classic favourites including flavoured Caipirinhas and tropical Batidas, you won’t be disappointed.
