With the Rio Olympics just around the corner, 2016 is going to be a huge year for Brasil so we’re getting excited with a delicious new menu at Cabana Brasilian Barbecue. Don’t worry, we’ve kept your favourites and added some tasty new additions that are sure to get your taste buds tingling!
Cabana have been in Brasil searching the streets, beaches and markets for some great new dishes to bring back to the UK - with our own distinct Cabana flavour of course! Kick off with some brand new Street Food starters, such as Salt Cod Fritters served with lime mayo, a favourite snack from Sao Paulo. Fancy a snack with a cocktail whilst perusing the menu? Give our NEW Sweet Potato Hummus with warm pitta a try or opt for the Boteco Sharing Board, piled with typical Brasilian bar snacks like Malagueta Pork Scratchings and Fiery Roasted Nuts. And for those of you who can’t get enough of our Spicy Malagueta Chicken, we’re introducing another way to enjoy it in our Spicy Malagueta Chicken Doughnuts: Cheesy Dough Balls with an added Spicy Malagueta kick!
We haven’t finished yet! Fresh off the grill, we’ve added a true Churrasco classic - Chicken wrapped in Bacon & Honey-Glazed Pineapple - or we have the brand new Steak Fritas Osvaldo Aranha, a 6oz minute steak with fried garlic inspired by a dish created for the politician Oswaldo Aranha in Rio’s Cosmopolita restaurant. Back by popular demand is the Pork & Papaya Sausage Wheel, whilst the all new Sizzling Picanha Steak served hot off the grill with stir fried onions & tomatoes is sure to become a Cabana classic. And now all grill dishes are served with your choice of 2 Cabana Sides or 1 Premio side, so get ready to tuck into Biro-Biro Rice, Cassava Fries or Mango & Cashew slaw.
Love our Crispy Lula Squid? Now enjoy it in a burger! The Crispy Lula Squid Burger is stuffed with Crispy Salt & Pepper Squid and served with Lime Mayo, fries and slaw is definitely one to try! Whilst if ribs are your thing, Spicy Malagueta Ribs with crushed Cashew nuts and spring onions, served with mango and cashew slaw will be one to order.
For the health conscious, or if you’re after something a little lighter, we’ve got you covered. Start your meal with Spicy Malagueta Chicken Lettuce Wraps or Chargrilled Halloumi served with our Guava Dip, a classic Brasilian combination often dubbed ‘Romeo & Juliet’ in Brasil! Follow with the Hipanema Salad with quinoa, avocado, squash & a fruity mango dressing, served with your choice of Chicken (Spicy Malagueta or Guava-Cue) or Chargrilled Halloumi.

Every time we visit Brasil, we discover another reason to love it.
There are three things that we think make it truly special: Firstly, the food: it's always communal; especially when friends gather around the oversized barbecues found on every corner.
Then, there's the wonderful eccentricity of the cities: an endless urban collage, haphazardly thrown together to create the most humble, but uplifting environments.
Finally, there's the unmistakably Brasilian outlook: 'tudo bem', meaning 'everything's good', is a spirit that's in everyone's heart, whatever cards you've been dealt.
Cabana is our homage to all of these things; our attempt to share a bit of the real Brasil.
