Take out just got Social

Manchester’s Urban retreat, The Social at Urbis has just launched its new take out range, and has given its interior design a bit of a shake up to boot, creating a wholesome DIY look (complete with chip board wood effect and mis-matched furniture) that neatly complements its food ethic!

Now open from 8 am, The Social is a veritable paradise for the health-conscious commuter. Located in the immediate vicinity of Victoria Station, its a perfect place to pick up a fresh ‘home-made’ breakfast, with some healthy alternatives that you won’t find anywhere else.

Start the day with Organic porridge, served with scrummy toppings such as chopped banana, or maple syrup and pecan nuts. You won’t struggle to down your 5 a day with a healthy Super Smoothie, freshly prepared on request. Try a delicious Breakfast Smoothie made from fresh orange juice, banana, strawberries, organic yogurt, honey and oats....or a Yogurt Pot served with sliced fresh figs (along with organic honey, yogurt and pumpkin seeds), and you won’t get a better kick start than the Super Fruits Mix of pomegranate, blueberry and Mango.

A selection of hand-prepared healthy Sandwiches (lovingly made each day from scratch), are now available to take out for lunch. Fillings vary from day to day and include Roasted Peppers and Hummus and Roast Old Spot Belly Pork with Apple Chutney. And there’s two different home-made Soups to choose from every day too!

If you’ve got the time to take for a long breakfast or a lazy lunch our old favourites won’t let you down! The Social Breakfast with dry cured bacon and Cumberland sausage even comes with home-made baked beans! For proper comfort food try our Spot Pork and Cracked Black Pepper Sausages and Mash, served with Rich Onion and Thyme Gravy.

The Social at Urbis, wholesome good food and drink whether you stay or go!
