Bank Holiday Weekend Beer Festival at The Crown
There are lots of new things happening this bank holiday weekend at The Crown.
We are featuring 15 new breweries to the Crown all opened recently in the North West. From traditional cask brewers producing tasty traditional ales to the radical new micros experimenting with ingredients and beer styles from across the globe!
We are introducing a new range of guest Craft Keg beers which allow to introduce beers with much bigger flavours and ABVs, many of which will be served in half and third pints. This is reflecting the Craft brewing revolution in the USA and Europe but I think we are bolder, bracer and bonkers!
THERE IS MORE TO BEER THAN PINTS OF BITTER
As well as beer we are introducing a new traditional cider producer in the North West, Red Bank cider in Bolton. They have already won awards at local and regional festivals. We are getting the medium dry, medium, Perry and blueberry cider.
If that isn’t enough we are introducing Zymurgorium, an artisan Mead producer based in Irlam. He has a range of different meads, some more like ales some more like wine. We are featuring his superior sweet mead.
Not all our new drinks are from the North West. For the wine drinkers we have chilled Prosecco by the Glass for £3.95 and Pink Prosecco by the bottle for £15.95.
New craft keg ales from Ilkley Brewery in Gods County. A new imported Hefe Weiss on draught, a wheat beer from the Rothaus brewery in the Black forest.
If the thought of all this drink has made you hungry we have promotions on every aspect of our menu from Sunday To Friday, great value, high quality freshly prepared food. We have a special bank holiday menu, 2 courses for £11.95.
In the meantime the chefs are working on developing our bar tapas menu just in case you get the munchies while sampling our great range of drinks.
