How many onion rings were in the vase?

If you were at our recent food festival at Arley Hall, you may have seen the team from Onionring running an inventive competition where visitors had to guess how many onion rings were in their vase.

It seems that this mysterious vase puzzled the vast majority of the 400 plus guesses with estimates ranging from 4747 to just 90! The Onionring stall caused many arguments while families debated the contents.

To put you out of your misery, there were actually 255 onion rings in the vase which means a huge congratulations to Philippa Hirst who wins a wonderful meal for two with wine at Stockton Heath's A La Turka restaurant.

For those unlucky enough to miss out on the prize, don't forget that you can still enjoy a meal at A La Turka, simply call 01925 551 647 to book!

The lads from Onionring along with Alison from A La Turka would like to thank you very much to all who entered and hope you had fun playing the game!
