Hard Rock Cafe Manchester announces line up for first World Burger Tour

For the first time ever, Hard Rock Cafe gives guests a backstage pass to sample Local Legendary™ Burger offerings, showcasing the flavour and ingredients at Hard Rock locations from across the globe as part of its new World Burger Tour menu. These unique burger “acts” will take centre stage at Hard Rock Manchester, beginning on Friday 1st May through Tuesday 30th June, 2015.

Hard Rock gives chefs at their cafes the freedom to create a unique Local Legendary Burger that captures the local flavours of their city and is only available at that cafe location...until now! More than 150 local burgers were evaluated by Hard Rock’s culinary team, with fan favourites selected to star on two limited-time World Burger Tour menus—one available 1st May and the other available 1st June. From the Cuban Burger in Miami, to the Marimba Burger in Guatemala City, Hard Rock’s Local Legendary Burgers are packing their bags (or buns) and heading out to Hard Rock Cafes throughout Europe, with a special stop at Hard Rock Cafe Manchester!

During the month of May, sizzling headliners featured as part of Hard Rock Cafe Manchester’s World Burger Tour menu include:

• Java Lava Burger – this American Legendary from Seattle features a beef patty awakened with espresso rub and house-made lava sauce, crunchy java onions, melted Cheddar cheese and smoked bacon
• Tandoori Spiced Chicken Burger – this Indian Legendary features a tender chicken breast marinated with authentic tandoori spices and fresh herbs, topped with melted Jack cheese, sliced cucumbers and mint yoghurt
• Chamorro Burger – this Southern Pacific Legendary features a beef patty rubbed with island-inspired spices and layered with Pepper Jack cheese, house-made Chamorro glaze and chilli paste
• Jalapeño Cream Cheese Burger – this American Legendary features a beef patty topped with double-battered fried jalapeno slices and jalapeno cream cheese, along with red onion and served with Sriracha mayo
• Lancashire Hot Pot Burger – Manchester’s very own creation! Featuring a deconstructed Lancashire Hot Pot, with a minted lamb pâté, a potato rosti and onion frazzles, served with fries and a side of gravy.
To showcase even more Local Legendary Burgers, Hard Rock Cafe Manchester will also feature the following burgers on its World Burger Tour menu during the month of June:
• Cuban Burger – this American Legendary from Miami features a beef patty topped with mojo-marinated pulled pork, melted Swiss cheese and sweet plantains, finished with yellow mustard and pickle chips
• Date Burger – this United Arab Emirates Legendary features a beef patty topped with rich date chutney, diced fresh dates and softened cream cheese
• Banh Mi Burger – this Vietnamese Legendary features a beef patty coated with tangy house-made Vietnamese glaze, topped with sliced cucumbers and pickled vegetables, accompanied by a garnish of cilantro and green onions
• Marimba Burger – this Guatemalan Legendary features a beef patty topped with three-bean puree, layered with melted Jack and cheddar cheeses and crispy tortilla straws
• Lancashire Hot Pot Burger – Manchester’s very own creation! Featuring a deconstructed Lancashire Hot Pot, with a minted lamb pâté, a potato rosti and onion frazzles, served with a side of gravy.
Local Legendary Burgers are served with lettuce, tomato and paired with the ultimate sidekick – Hard Rock’s classic seasoned French fries.

Just like the artists whose memorabilia lines the walls at Hard Rock locations worldwide, the burgers that Hard Rock Cafe serves are nothing short of “Legendary.” All Legendary Burgers feature the highest quality meats, fresh ingredients, savoury sauces and rich, melted cheeses.

As part of the World Burger Tour menu, Hard Rock Cafes will also showcase the brand’s world-famous cocktails, including:
• Mai Tai One On – a South Pacific-inspired cocktail that features a refreshing blend of Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, Cointreau® Orange Liqueur, Monin Orgeat, a splash of lime and orange juice
• Pomegranate Mule – a mix of ABSOLUT® Vodka, Monin Pomegranate and ginger beer make this summertime favorite from Russia
• Mezcarita – this refreshing and smoky margarita, which hails from Mexico, is a perfect combination of Del Maguey Mezcal, Cointreau® Orange Liqueur, Malibu® Coconut and fresh strawberries
• Pineapple Ginger Caipirinha – a Brazilian blend of Água Luca™ Cachaça and pineapple with the subtle hint of Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
• Maple Old Fashioned – a twist on a classic American cocktail that features Maker’s Mark® Bourbon, cherries, maple syrup and orange juice garnished with a crisp bacon stir stick
