The Modern bar and restaurant has been placed into the which? Good Food Guide for 2010! The prestigious guide fully lists just 11 restaurants from the Manchester area as part of it's carefully selected guide of 1,200 establishments nationwide.

The guide quotes...‘The Modern offers verve, cocktails and cooking with intent. Drinks in the upstairs bar are some of the finest in the city, and a menu dedicated – though not feverishly – to good local produce has serious appeal’
