Oddfellows now in Michelin 'Eating out in pubs' Guide 2013!!

GREAT NEWS!!! And just in time for a double celebration this weekend! We have been listed as a new entry into the Michelin “Eating out in pubs” Guide 2013.

Arguably the most prestigious guide judging pub food quality, independent reviews to the renowned Michelin standards of the very best 550 pubs in Britain. In and around the area of Manchester including Lymm, Altrincham, Wilmslow and Oldham we are one of only 4 pubs listed!

This is in addition to our listing in The Good Pub Guide last month.

SO…….. We do hope you can make it to our 1st anniversary celebration this Sunday, November 11th. Although it’s a ‘school night’ there has been a lot of support and interest and it promises to be a great evening celebrating your local pub’s first year in the hands of the LOCALS!

The evening will commence “Early doors” at 5pm & we will be serving half price drinks between 6-7pm (obviously we are open normal Sunday hours for food, last orders 5pm).

The fabulous “Stone 3” will be performing from 6pm & for those who have seen the band will know you’re in for a treat!

The “Oddies” has been a favourite amongst discerning diner for many years, until it was sold to a national pub group in 2004. A couple of local “Oddies” fans have bought the freehold and undertaken a major refurbishment and upgrade of the building, offering, feel and look of the 17th century building.

The Oddfellows has gone back to a more traditional feel and look, where customers will always receive a warm and friendly welcome, excellent real cask ales, fine wines and fabulous British food. The kitchens have been completely renovated including all new equipment.

A new oak staircase spanning all three floors has been fitted to allow us to serve our fresh food directly from the kitchens to ensures our diners receive the excellent quality food prepared by our Chefs in the best condition possible. The pub itself has undergone a major refit, new oak bar, wine store, three new fireplaces with log burners, exposed old timber floors and complete redecoration. The dining room has also had the full treatment, with exposed oak floor, new lighter and cleaner look, private dining room, snug & library with chesterfield settees.

Please note that our menu is a sample as we change daily.
