Mel attends Lancs Tourism awards dinner

Flat caps on, Lancashire breaking news

Last night was the Lancashire Tourism awards, our Mel was given a seat, at the back near the toilets as she snuck in, but she was there long enough before being spotted to hear that The Parkers Arms, Clitheroe won the Taste Lancashire award, and the Assheton Arms in Clitheroe the best Pub award. Big up to our favourites La Locanda in Gisburn, The Red Cat in Chorley and the Sparrowhawk in Burnely who were all finalists. Mel recommends a trip out to try these great independent places.
