Park Inn opens its doors

Park Inn Leigh, opens the door to welcome their first guest on 3rd October 2008.

Park Inn, the fresh and innovative mid – market hotel brand operated by The Rezidor Hotel Group, has reached the major landmark of 50 hotels in the UK. With a total of 50 hotels either in operation or under development in the UK, these numbers are impressive for a brand that was only launched into the UK in May 2004 with the opening of the Park Inn at Heathrow Airport.

Additionally they are a further 12 properties currently under development in locations such as Manchester, Canterbury, Peterborough, Preston and Belfast, all due to open in 2009/10. In Ireland there are currently four open hotels with a fifth due to open late next year.

Park Inn Leigh which is due to open very soon in Leigh Sports Village is a symbol for young, fresh and innovative hotel. Thanks to its colorful corporate design in red, blue, green and yellow, the brand is highly visible and stands for creative marketing activities such as the branded Park Inn Leigh Taxi, Park Inn Leigh Mini, Park Inn Leigh Bus

The Park Inn Leigh will offer 135 bright and well-appointed guest rooms all designed to follow the colorful Park Inn design ethos. Included in the room mix will be Standard guest rooms, Business-Friendly rooms and suites. Fully-furnished and with excellent amenities, flat screen TV, the hotel also will offer non-smoking rooms and rooms for families and disabled guests as well as WIFI access.
RGB (Red Bar and Grill) Restaurant will feature a tempting menu of international dishes in a contemporary ambiance. The hotel’s bar will serve a wide variety of drinks, cocktails and beers comfortable, modern and inviting, the coffee lounge will be the ideal setting to work as it will house modern work chairs that are designed for a laptop. Hotel bar will also offer guests a wonderful outside seating area to enjoy summer weather.
It will offer 6 modern and flexible meeting/function rooms with exceptional amenities: perfect for small intimate meetings to large corporate events, banquets and weddings. Two of our meeting rooms can be combined into one large event hall which can accommodate up to 150 guests.
