Local Pubs & Drinkers called to support safer drinking
MANCHESTER PUBS & DRINKERS CALLED TO SUPPORT
CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE SAFER DRINKING -
Manchester’s pubs and clubs and drinkers are being called on to get behind the new Think Safe Drink Safe card (TSDS card) campaign to promote safer drinking. The partnership between NHS Manchester, Manchester City Council and Greater Manchester Police provides licensees across the city centre with incentives and discounts to offer to drinkers to make it easier to choose an alcohol free alternative.
The new card scheme will allow pubs and clubs across Manchester with the opportunity to offer a wider range of alcohol-free drinks at discounted prices.
For members of the public, the TSDS Card can be used like a loyalty card; benefiting from offers and promotions in participating venues.
As a special introductory offer cardholders are being encouraged to give their feedback on the card and will be entered in to a competition to win a night out in Manchester for two, including Dinner, Bed and Breakfast at the Midland Hotel and tickets for the theatre.
Venues already taking part in the scheme include South, 5th Avenue, Vanilla and The Warehouse Project.
