Panacea Manchester, is now firmly established as the North’s leading venue for world class cocktails, globally influenced fresh food menus and a high service led environment, not too mention a consistent celebrity clientele.

Joe Akka MD and founder, has unveiled his expansion plans for the second site - opening September 2008, nestled in the heart of Cheshire’s leafy suburb Alderley Edge. This historic site, steeped in social history has undergone a three million pound reconstruction once again overseen by renowned interior designer; Bernard Carroll ensuring lavish and exclusive touches throughout.

The 9000 sq foot split level venue boasts an outside dining area as well as a 100 cover restaurant downstairs. The theme is a fresh open plan look with natural and earthy tones flowing throughout. A dazzling array of distinctive lighting features highlights the delicate finishes which have been created with corian – a beautiful ‘marble like’ composite and fossilised stone.

A stunning £80,000 elliptic staircase welcomes its patrons up to the upper level where will be greeted with a plush smattering of private booths which have proved so hugely popular in the Manchester venue. The area aims to provide a sanctuary of design decadence for the perceptive customer. Carefully positioned to create harmony between privacy and interaction the specifically designed furniture has been brought in straight from Italian designers; Potrana Frau of Italy, whose clients include Ferrari, ensuring style synonymous with the Panacea brand.
