Red Hot Buffet go Caribbean

Red Hot World Buffet & Bar is set to bring a whole new flavour to the summer in Liverpool, transforming its restaurant in Liverpool One into a celebration of West Indian culture and cuisine for four weeks from 15th July.

Red Hot’s Caribbean Food & Drink Festival will feature 18 exotic new dishes, traditional live music, brand new cocktails and even an exclusive sandy beach, available to all visitors to the restaurant throughout the festival.

Red Hot Liverpool’s Unit Manager, Saurabh Khare said: “We are really looking forward to celebrating such an exciting part of the world. The chefs responsible for our new dishes have experience working in five-star restaurants and hotels throughout the Caribbean and their attention to detail has been astounding - we have created a real taste of the West Indies in terms of both flavour and presentation.”

As well as enjoying dishes such as jerk chicken from Jamaica and banana and chocolate bread pudding from Barbados, visitors to the festival will be able to relax on an indoor beach of genuine sand and sample six new tropical cocktails such as the Strawberry Santiago or Jamaican Jig. Diners will be treated to live performances by a steel drum band and will have the chance take souvenir photographs to post on Facebook and Twitter.

Saurabh Khare said: “One of the great things about Caribbean food is that it’s really healthy as well as incredibly colourful, and we want to reflect that colour and vitality for the whole four week festival. We’d like to invite all of our guests to try a brand new cuisine and enjoy a truly authentic Caribbean experience.”
