Sozzled Swan Ale Launch Night
As a village pub we strive to make sure that we have a great selection of local ales, with something for all ale lovers. Taking this to the next level we have worked with a local brewery, Spitting Feathers, who are based in neighbouring, Waverton, to create our own ale, “Sozzled Swan”. We gave the ale the name it has, because we wanted a strong reference to our village.
We had a launch evening where we offered free tasters for all customers to promote the ale and the brewery. The feedback we received was very positive and all customers & the ale is now our most popular & bestselling ale.
“Sozzled Swan” is a traditional English ale brought up to date with the addition of modern US grown Cascade hops.

relax on the alfresco dining terrace.
The Glasshouse � a contemporary extension, gives an exciting dimension to the pub, creating a spectacular dining environment, perfect for hosting any special event. In the warmer months its fully retractable doors create the ideal inside/outside space.
The restaurant has a fresh look creating a vibrant place to dine. The menu changes seasonally and uses only the best quality freshest ingredients and sits alongside established favourites such as fish & chips, hand stretched stones baked pizzas and fabulous Sunday roasts.
The Village Bar is sure to wow with delicious home-made bar snacks to accompany your chosen tipple, plus it's open for tea, coffee and home-made cakes every weekday morning.
