Rosso Restaurant introduce their new À La Carte
Manchester’s opulent celebrity Italian of choice, Rosso Restaurant has introduced an exquisite new À La Carte menu with a selection of sumptuous dishes in the shape of succulent salted meats, rustic roasts, Tuscan soups, fresh seafood and seasonal game as well as an array of traditional Italian favourites.
The menu has been crafted and created by head chef Steve Hildebrandt and his team of expert chefs using premium local produce and hand-picked ingredients. Diners can expect to see their dishes furnished with scrumptious seasonal extras such as truffle oil, figs, duck eggs, Sicilian olives, salted caper berries, cherries and hazelnut crumbs.

Signature starters to sample include the duck liver and pistachio parfait with brioche toast and fig chutney, the king roasted scallops and the sword fish slices with mizuna leaf, white balsamic dressing and preserved cherries. The truffle scented white polenta with fontina, artichoke sauté and wild mushrooms is also a worthy new addition to taste and try.
The new mains include seafood dishes such as giant fresh water prawns, split with chilli, lime and garlic served with a fine pasta salad, lobster and ravioli, pan-seared swordfish and a classic fish broth of spiced tomato, shellfish and a catch of the day.
Alongside a selection of steak, lamb, beef and chicken dishes, the menu also features some culinary game, with wood pigeon stuffed with fresh fig and toasted pine nuts served with a treacle reduction and a mixed seed granola, and a cutlet of wild boar with spiced red cabbage and a mini game ragú with hotpot potatoes.
The new A La Carte also features an abundance of grilled meats, risottos, pastas and pizza.
