SHELDRAKES AWARDED HIGHEST TASTE ACCREDITATION BY VISIT ENGLAND QUALITY IN TOURISM
For the second consecutive year Sheldrakes Restaurant in Lower Heswall, has received the highest accolade for Taste Liverpool Highest Quality Assured Restaurant by Visit England. Having received the award in 2008, the restaurant has again been awarded the highest category attainable for the quality of their food and levels of service, and reinforces evidence of their support for their support of local suppliers and producers.
Sheldrakes Restaurant is Wirral’s hidden gastronomic treasure, its’ spectacular location offers “Views To Dine For.” With panoramic views over the River Dee and Welsh Hills the setting is perfect for al fresco to al a carte dining. The traditional and Mediterranean menu, described by the Taste Liverpool assessor as “high quality” and “offering a wide selection to suit different tastes and appetites” is made up of carefully designed dished created using a wide range of local produce.
In the coming months Sheldrakes has a variety of events planned, from the continuation of the outstanding four course Sunday carvery, to the return of the Chef’s gourmet evenings and the introduction of a series of walks in conjunction with West Wirral Walks.
