Squid Ink coming to Manchester

Manchester’s neighbourhood Ancoats is quickly becoming a mecca for fantastic food and chic edgy living.

From Rudy’s Neapolitan pizza (dubbed by many as the best in the city) to the popular Vivid Lounge who serve hearty breakfasts and rustic Thai dishes, it won’t be long before this area is up to scratch with the Northern Quarter.

Next to move into this borough is Squid Ink from the team behind the former Superstore on Tib Street. Not much has been given away just yet, but come their opening next month we'd be surprised not to see Asian inspired dishes utilising the best of the produce here in the North West.

Whatever it will be, we are sure it'll fit into this fashionable district and add another string to the ever-growing range of places to eat and drink in Ancoats.

About Squid Ink

Squid Ink is a place you go to enjoy food and drinks in a relaxed environment. Nothing is permanent; the food and drink offerings are dynamic and ever changing, complementing its contemporary surroundings and location history.

Squid Ink isn't designed to be a rushed space; it's designed to be an enjoyable experience. Our food is not fast food. Squid Ink offers a thoughtfully -selected menu that is well sourced and prepared to order.

We are not aiming for high table turnover. At the very heart of Squid Ink is a word often misused or, at worst, criminally forgotten, and that is value. Having visited Squid Ink, we want you to leave knowing that not only did you enjoy your experience, but that you also thought that it was excellent value.
