Merlin Brewing Company - brewed for a magical taste
Sue & David Peart set up Merlin Brewing Company in September 2010, theming their award winning ales around Arthurian legend and conjuring up some great names for their ales such as Excalibur, The Wizard, Dark Magic and DragonSlayer to name but a few.
This family run business, based in Arclid near Sandbach produces up to 100 nine gallon casks of hand crafted ale each week, supplying outlets within a 30 mile radius of the brewery. And it’s a big thumbs up for their environmental credentials as the brewery has to be one the most environmentally friendly in the country, using only renewable energy generated from an array of solar panels and a wind turbine so you should certainly get that feel good factor when drinking Merlin ales.
David & Sue are clearly fastidious about the quality of their ale and go to great lengths to ensure each and every pint is as consistent as the last. Their strap line “Brewed for a magical taste” certainly rings true and I’m sure you’ll agree that their full flavoured ales hit the spot each and every time.
