The Black Swan is proud to announce that it has be granted the Community Pub of the Year award by the North Cheshire branch of CAMRA for the second year in a row.

The pub which sponsors local teams and holds countless community events throughout the year including a monthly Farmers’ Market, weekly entertainment nights and beer festivals have recently completed building work on their new function rooms which allow them to host private parties, weddings and business events on a regular basis.

At the news, Stuart Wraith, General Manager commented “we are absolutely delighted that we have been granted this award again. We go out of our way to integrate ourselves into the community and try to please our regulars and locals. Being granted Community Pub of the Year for the second year in a row from CAMRA is a real accolade”.

Ray Head from North Cheshire CAMRA added “The Black Swan does it again! A 2nd successive Community Pub of the Year Award reflects how the pub has come on in leaps and bounds over the last 12 months. With a growing repertoire of community events and even more well-kept cask ales on the bar it is no great surprise that the Black Swan retained the title.”

With many future events in the pipeline including a weekend-long beer festival with plenty of other activities to keep guests entertained, the pub is hoping to retain its title for many years to come.
