You know how we said we'd be, ahem, open in the autumn? Well, as they say, good things come to those who wait.... So instead, we've got a competition for you!
Rome wasn't built in a day......and it took 30 years to build The Great Pyramid - so on that scale, we're not doing too badly!
Although The Fishpool Inn is progressing well, you might have noticed we're not going to be open in the autumn as we had initially hoped.
Our revised opening date is January. As a little thank you for sticking with us, we've got a fabulous competition for you to enter:
Oak is a strong theme in the pub and we'd like you to guess how many oak beams have been used in the whole refurbishment, including the oak framed extension. Tip: take a look at our Facebook page for more pictures of the Fishpool interior construction.
