The builders are starting to pack up, the interior decorators are in, the kitchens are shiny and new and the website is under construction. It's been a long journey and we appreciate you standing by us all the way.

So we wanted you to be the first to know that we're finally flinging open the doors to The Fishpool Inn on Friday 8th February!!

The menus have been finalised and we can't wait for you to try our dishes. We were keen to introduce some contemporary cooking methods and have invested in an Inka Charcoal Oven and a Woodstone Oven.

The Inka Oven is a way of grilling borrowed from the Spanish (not unlike an indoor BBQ) which uses zero oil resulting in healthy, grease-free cooking. We'll be serving succulent chargrilled 12oz Ribeye Beef on the Bone, Lamb Rump, Whole Sea bass, Salmon and Duck using the Inka Oven. Even vegetables can get the Inka treatment!

Our Woodstone Oven will make the most amazing flat breads and pizzas that are light and crispy and full of flavour.

Handcrafted pies are also going to be one of our specialties including Beef & Weetwood Ale, Chicken & Cheshire Ham, Bowland Braised Shoulder of Lamb and Ox Cheek & Oxtail with Blue Cheese.

Not forgetting a fantastic range of sandwiches, salads and desserts. And our open kitchen will mean you can watch everything being prepared and cooked.
