At last the days are getting longer and there's a hint of warmth about the air!

The Farm
Our lambs have been born up on the farm! Hardingland Farm was purchased by The Lime Tree in 2008. It supplies both restaurants with free range eggs, rare breed pork, and other seasonal produce. And don't forget the English Asparagus season is just around the corner and will be featured on our menus.

The Aberdaron crab from Mary and Gareth at Select Seafoods on The Llyn Peninsular makes a fantastic new starter being served with avocado and Bloody Mary dressing - delicious!

The Lime Tree in Bollington is a family run independent restaurant and wine bar which opened in November 2012; a sister restaurant to the highly acclaimed The Lime Tree, Didsbury which has been in the leafy suburb since 1986.

With an emphasis on seasonal, locally sourced produce, much of the menu's produce comes from their family farm at Macclesfield Forest.

The style is consistent efficient friendly service and owner Patrick Hannity and his son Sam (previously of The Boundary, London and Michelin Star La Chapelle, London along with Rick Bell (previously of The Lincoln Manchester) oversee the kitchen.
