Bar and Courtyard (Chester) offer a new menu
The new menu is ideal for lunch or dinner, with reasonable prices and delicious dishes.
The lunch options, which can be enjoyed in the sun of our courtyard area, include "proper" sandwiches. Like our sliced sirloin of beef with pan fried onions + mushrooms on thick sliced bread dressed with horseradish…and go on then, a few chunky chips!!
There is something for everyone on the menu, so come along and try us out. Oh, and the wine list isnt bad either with a large selection of wines available by the glass.

About The Red Lion
Warm and welcoming, The Red Lion in Handbridge is a cosy pub with real ales, great homemade food, real fires, fabulous food and great atmosphere. Situated on the outskirts of Chester City Centre, a short stroll up from the River Dee. We are the most traditional pub in the area and boast an envied beer garden with patio heaters, canopies, plenty of seating and FREE barbecue hire. It's a fantastic place for parties all-year-round.
