Sunday Roasts with a view

Chester’s luxurious period hotel, Edgar House has stepped up their dining with the addition of Phil Dougherty (of Gleneagles, Chester Grosvenor, Chester Racecourse fame) who is now overseeing their Riverside Eating.

Not only this, but you can now be able to enjoy the best meal of the week in style with their Traditional English Sunday Roasts.

Choose to dine inside with the stunning contemporary elegance of the panel-walled Library, or outside (weather permitting!) in their Riverside Garden, with possibly the best view in Chester - on top of the City Walls overlooking the River Dee and the Old Dee Bridge.

Not sure if it’s the locally sourced pork, succulent beef joints or the homemade Yorkshire puddings; but something tells us this will be very busy – hence why they are taking reservations on 01244 347 007.

Enjoy Sundays in style, at Edgar's Riverside Eating from 1100-1800, every Sunday.
