International Restaurant of the Year Award

Va Bene scooped the award for ‘International Restaurant of the Year’ at the prestigious Derbyshire Food and Drink Awards ceremony 2010 at Thornbridge Hall last night.

The awards are in their ninth year and are organised by the Derbyshire Tourist Board and this is the first time Va Bene has entered. Marcela and David received the award from Celebrity Chef Brian Turner (BBC 2's Ready Steady Cook) on behalf of the whole team at Va Bene. Photos can be seen here.
