Malarkie is a trio comprising of Jackie, an inspirational singer songwriter with a captivating voice, Larry, a phenomenal violinist who somehow fuses Irish, jazzy and classical influences, and the amazing Mahandra on hand drums, who lines the music with often exotic and dancey beats. Malarkie formed 2 years ago. We play lively original acoustic music, with an international feel, as well as a whole gamut of covers to suit every occasion. A few mellow songs add an extra dimension to the repertoire, and Larry's violin soars. We are well known in locally having had many local gigs such as at The Royal Oak Kenilworth, the Fleece Bretforton, the Somerville, the Cape and The Grand Union. We have played several festivals such as the Mary Arden, stratford Cheese and Pickle, Worcester and headlining Kenilworth Beer Festival, providing feisty festy feel - good sounds everyone can enjoy. We have been invited to perform @ Warwick Folk Festival this summer.
